Named for the nearby Provincial Park and its lakes, the Champion Lakes Golf Course has, appropriately, three small ponds at the centre of the course. These ponds are replicas of the much larger lakes to the northwest.

Designed by Boyd Barr and first opened for play in 1992, the course was built by the industrious golfers of the Beaver Valley. They were provided with financial assistance from private and commercial donations, plus grants from the government.

Play 9 or 18 holes in a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains, abundance of trees, a winding creek, 30 bunkers and of course 3 ponds.
